Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Tameside SK14
Job Type: Part-time, 12.15pm-18.15pm Monday- Friday (Annual Leave with a 2-week Christmas closure)
Salary: £13.75- £14.50 per hour
Start date: September 2025 (As soon as possible)

A happy, hard-working school in the Tameside area are seeking a warm, caring, and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children develop in the Early Years Foundations Stage, with the opportunity for the temporary role to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to age 2 children.
* Supporting children’s learning and development through continuous provision and play-based activities.
* Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a safe, stimulating environment.
* Helping to monitor progress and maintain accurate learning records.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
* Has experience working with children in EYFS (a nursery setting is desirable but not essential).
* Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate).
* Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
* Is proactive, patient, and nurturing with excellent communication skills.
* Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
* First Aid Paediatrics trained (desirable but not essential).
