Two Experienced Personal Assistants required for a lady P/T @ £14.67/hr in Morpeth

We are seeking two kind, reliable, and experienced Personal Assistants to support a lady with complex physical support needs, who benefits from calm, consistent and compassionate care in her family home. This role will suit applicants who are confident in providing personal care, supporting daily routines, and working collaboratively with each other. This is a rewarding opportunity for Personal Assistants who genuinely care about providing safe, dignified, and consistent support, and who value building a trusting, respectful working relationship.
Experience in complex care, manual handling, and supporting individuals with restricted mobility is important. The 5 x 30 minute morning calls require 1 carer to support the client with a full body wash in bed, to get dressed and then support her with a safe transfer to her wheelchair. The 2 x 45 minute morning calls require 2 carers to support the client with a shower, dressing and transfer to her wheelchair. Full details of duties, responsibilities, and support arrangements will be further discussed at the interview.
Hours 30 minute morning calls at 9:00am for 5 days per week for 1 support worker. 45 minute morning calls at 9:00am for 2 days per week for 2 support workers. It is hoped that successful applicants can cover each other for holidays and any unplanned absence.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role and will be provided at no cost to the successful applicants.
Rate of pay £14.67 per hour. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata. Benefit access to ILG PA, which will be explained at the interview.
