We are seeking talented and motivated individuals to join the Service Improvement, Quality and Practice (SIQP) team.
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Do you support a caring and empowering culture? Are you enthusiastic, able to work at pace, engage stakeholders, and operate within a Project Management environment? If so, you could be one of the key contributors shaping the future with us!
If you are ready to grow your career, please get in touch. We offer flexible working conditions, 28 days annual leave (rising to 33 days after five years of service), hybrid working, the option to join the Nottinghamshire local government pension fund, and a friendly, supportive environment.
Examples of recent SIQP projects include:
* CQC Inspection Readiness: Preparing Nottinghamshire County Council for new inspections by the Care Quality Commission.
* Notts Care Record: Developing a Shared Care Record to share key data among major providers, including mental health, GPs, and hospital trusts.
* The Big Conversation and Local Account: Coordinating engagement activities and co-producing a strategy for Adult Social Care.
* Dashboard Development: Creating dashboards for operational teams to provide real-time reporting and KPIs, replacing manual data entry.
Hear more about the Service Improvement Officer role from one of our team members: “The role of a Service Improvement Officer (SIO) varies as you manage different work-streams within Adult Social Care. It’s a great way to learn about the council’s workings, work on diverse projects, and gain experience from colleagues. Responsibilities include gathering evidence for service improvement, planning and delivering training, facilitating workshops, and leading specific projects aligned with departmental priorities.”
Disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria will be guaranteed an interview. We offer a job share scheme for full-time posts, both permanent and temporary. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and all staff are expected to undergo appropriate checks.
Nottinghamshire County Council strives to exceed the requirements of the Equalities Act and is proud to be a Disability Confident Leader Organisation. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy, maternity, age, or sexual orientation.
