Job - SEND Teacher (Full-Time, Long-Term)
Location: Yardley, Birmingham
Start Date: January 2026
Academics are currently supporting a mainstream primary school in Yardley that is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teacher to join their SEND team from January 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a welcoming, well-resourced school that is fully committed to providing the highest level of support for children with additional needs. You will be joining a strong, collaborative team with excellent support in their SEN Hub.
Role Details:
Full-time position starting January 2026
Working within a mainstream primary setting with a focus on SEND provision
Supported by three experienced Teaching Assistants
All planning is completed by the SENDCo, allowing you to focus on teaching, delivery and supporting pupil progress
Long-term role with potential for extensionRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience working with children with SEND
Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)What the School Offers:
