Role Title : Trade Counter
Company : BSS Industrial
Reports to : Warehouse Supervisor / Branch Manager
Role Purpose
To be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers entering our premises, greeted with a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and branch team in providing excellent service while upholding the ‘Stay Safe’ culture.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality customer service on the Trade Counter.
2. Assist in loading and unloading stock using mechanical handling equipment or manually when required.
3. Maintain stock levels and merchandise to maximize branch profitability.
4. Ensure correct documentation for goods in/out, report damaged stock, and complete daily sheets for MHE, adhering to safety procedures.
5. Participate in stocktaking as required.
6. Follow ‘Stay Safe’ procedures and maintain high housekeeping standards.
7. Report near misses, hazards, and injuries to your line manager. Participate in training and development activities.
