Our Production Delivery team is seeking a meticulous and driven Production BOM Controller to own and govern the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) across the full lifecycle of our Formula 1® car. This role is critical to ensure that every component, every nut, every carbon part, every assembly is correctly represented within our PLM and ERP systems, enabling flawless production execution and configuration control.
You will work in close collaboration with Engineering, Production and Purchasing teams to validate BOMs released from 3DX, ensure accurate transfer into IFS, and maintain the integrity of configuration for builds, upgrades, and in-season developments.
* Approving and validating BOMs released from 3DX prior to transfer into IFS, ensuring complete and correct data
* Manipulating, cleansing, and optimizing BOM structures to support: Manufacturing; Purchasing; Build & Assembly; Test Operations; Supply to RT / downstream functions
* Working closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve BOM discrepancies and ensure correct configuration and revision control
* Supporting change management processes, ensuring ECNs/ECRs are accurately reflected in
* Driving BOM accuracy to improve material availability, shop floor execution, planning reliability, and cost control
* Acting as a subject-matter expert for BOM structure, system behavior, and data quality standards

* Proven experience working with BOMs in a fast-paced engineering, manufacturing, or motorsport environment
* Strong knowledge of PLM/ERP systems (experience with 3DX and IFS is highly advantageous)
* Understanding of engineering drawings, product configuration, and manufacturing workflows
* Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues
* Experience with change management processes and revision control
* A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset to enhance BOM structures and system performance
