Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for all occupants. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Duties
* Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established procedures, ensuring all areas are kept tidy and hygienic.
* Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
* Follow all health and safety guidelines while using cleaning products and equipment.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
* Follow cleaning checklists and site-specific procedures
* Report any damages, stock shortages, or issues to the supervisor
* Lock up and secure premises if required
Requirements
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require some lifting or moving items.
* A positive attitude towards work and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
* Comfortable working in different commercial environments
* Basic understanding of health & safety practices
