An exciting opportunity has emerged at West Coast Triumph Glasgow for an experienced Senior Motorcycle Technician to join our business – with a strong focus on diagnostics, servicing and repairs of Triumph motorcycles, including motorcycles not exclusive to the franchise.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, the successful Senior Motorcycle Technician will support our team of technicians to deliver key performance targets and the highest quality of service to our customers.
The successful Senior Motorcycle Technician will:
* Conduct diagnostics, servicing and repairs of Triumph and non-franchise motorcycles in a timely manner
* Manage a team of technicians to deliver key performance targets, and support their development, skills and abilities
* Proactively communicate with the team and customers in a professional way, leading to positive outcomes and experiences
* Be a team player prepared to adapt in the moment and assist others where necessary
* Systematic and methodical in your approach, well organised and demonstrate initiative and problem solving
* Deliver a consistent, efficient, high-quality level of service and maintenance to premium motorcycles

The ideal Senior Motorcycle Technician should possess:
A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a motorcycle technician, be proficient with modern diagnostic tools and electronics, and offer a wide range of traditional mechanical skills. You will also enjoy working with others and be confident in a customer-facing environment.
Essential:
* Full motorcycle and car licence
* Competent and capable with a computer
* Have own transport
Desirable:
* Industry recognised qualifications
* Franchise experience
* MOT NT qualified
Working Hours:
Easily commutable & situated off J26 of the M8, our working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, typically from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Availability to work additional shifts during holiday periods is desirable.
