Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
(We are looking for an individual to commit to 16 hours over 4 days - Monday- Thursday with a hourly rate of £13ph and increasing to 14ph after 3 month probation is passed)
Duties
* Clean and sanitise bedrooms/ guest rooms, bathrooms and kitchen
* Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
* Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and specialised cleaning agents
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
* Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens
* Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
* Cleaning and organising cupboards
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes
Skills
* Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
* Knowledge of janitorial practices and familiarity with cleaning chemicals is advantageous
* Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or additional responsibilities as needed
