Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Manager to join UKR, our in-house construction division. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of maintenance works across multiple projects, while also being hands-on when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise daily with the UKR maintenance team to plan and allocate weekly workloads.
* Prepare and issue maintenance schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Review maintenance requests, scope required works, and write quotations to be passed to the admin team.
* Monitor ongoing works, providing updates to the Project Manager.
* Carry out minor on-site tasks when required to support the team.
* Ensure all works are completed to the required standard, on time and within budget.
* Support compliance with health, safety, and property standards.
* Anticipate upcoming requirements and plan ahead to minimise downtime.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or property management.
* Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Confident communicator — able to liaise effectively with tradespeople, admin staff, and management.
* Competent in Microsoft Office/365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word).
* Ability to assess works accurately and prepare clear quotations.
* Multi-skilled, with the ability to step in for minor works when needed.
* Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
* Practical, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
