Daily Rate: £150 £250 (depending on experience and contract type)

GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Barnet. This is a permanent, full-time role starting in September 2025 ideal for an enthusiastic individual ready to bring the Spanish language and culture to life in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities of the Spanish Teacher:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in Spanish that promote language fluency and cultural understanding.
* Use varied teaching strategies and resources to support all learning styles, ensuring every student can succeed in Spanish.
* Monitor and assess student progress in line with school and national standards.
* Foster a classroom environment that motivates and challenges learners to reach their full potential as Spanish language speakers.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the languages department to continually develop and improve the Spanish curriculum.
* Contribute to wider school life, including language-themed events, trips, and clubs that enhance the Spanish learning experience.
The Ideal Spanish Teacher Will:
* Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Spanish, MFL, or a related field.
* Have experience teaching Spanish at Key Stages 3 to 5 in a UK secondary school setting.
* Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Spanish curriculum and modern assessment methods.
* Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and inclusive teaching practices.
* Hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
