Purpose:

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering high-quality printed materials on time, supporting internal teams across the business. Working Environment
1. Print room producing multiple document types with varied and frequent deadlines
2. Based on a large Xerox client site with some walking required between buildings
3. May require lifting and moving heavy materials
4. Standing for long periods during shifts
Key Responsibilities:
5. Operate a variety of digital printing machines, wide format printer, 3D printer, CD/DVD Burner, and all finishing equipment
6. Manage print jobs from start to finish, including setup, printing and finishing
7. Monitor print quality and troubleshoot issues with equipment or output
8. Continuous adherence to SLAs and KPIs
9. Maintain inventory of paper, toner, and other supplies
10. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of print equipment
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
12. Liaise with internal departments to meet printing needs and deadlines
13. Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records for tracking print jobs, reporting and billing purposes
14. Adhere to customer’s security classifications and associated protocols
15. Carry out any additional duties as requested
Skills & Experience
16. IT literacy, particularly working knowledge of Microsoft Office
17. Verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders of the print room
18. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
19. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
20. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
21. Good communication and customer service skills
22. Ability to take instructions and follow processes
23. Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
24. Full UK driving licence an advantage
25. Ability to gain SC clearance
26. Experience operating digital printing equipment is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided
