Job Description
* Develop and implement Procurement strategies across Hard FM categories
* Be flexible and agile to ensure key stakeholders are provided with a sufficient level of support
* Lead the end-to-end tender process
* Obtain value for money when procuring goods and services
* Provide expert advice on Procurement matters to internal teams
* Drive continuous improvement within the Procurement function
* Work effectively and efficiently with a proactive approach to any given situation
* Ensure all purchasing matters adhere to the organisations regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager should have:
* Proven experience in Procurement, Public Sector desirable but not essential
* Some knowledge of Hard FM categories (NEC3/JCT)
* Open to learning JCT/NEC3/Legal Contracts
* Open to personal development
* Stakeholder engagement, negotiation and management skills
* Experience leading a small team
* PCR2015 experience is desirable but not essential
* A track record of delivering cost savings and efficiency improvements
* Strong knowledge of Procurement regulations and policies
