About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Artisan Cheese & Fine Food Assistant to join our team. In this entry-level role, you'll be involved in the entire journey of our fine food operation — from carefully preparing and blending artisanal cheeses to packing and delivering them to customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, values high-quality food, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do:
* Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with accuracy and care
* Cut and blend specialty cheeses to exact specifications
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
* Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
* Deliver fine food products to clients (local deliveries only)
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Working at the Christmas Market (occasionally)
What We're Looking For:
* A genuine interest in food, especially cheese or artisanal products
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Food safety knowledge or certification (desirable)
* Ability to lift and move boxes up to 20kg
* Clean driving record and driving a small delivery van (desirable but not essential)
* Reliability, punctuality, and a positive team attitude
Why Work With Us?
* Be part of a passionate team focused on quality and excellence
* Learn the ins and outs of artisanal cheese and fine food production
* Opportunities for growth and training within the company (Supervisor role available after Christmas if we find an exceptional team member)
* Staff discounts on premium food products
