As the Product Manager for our Athlete Ecosystem, you will be at the forefront of shaping the digital experience for the world's top athletes. You will be entrusted with the pivotal role of defining and driving the product vision for a seamless, integrated platform that manages the entire athlete lifecycle at On. From their first day with us to their greatest sporting achievements, you will ensure that our technology empowers them to perform at their best. Your Mission
• Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and long-term strategy for the athlete ecosystem. Define the roadmap and prioritize initiatives to deliver a cohesive and intuitive experience for athletes, agents, coaches, and internal teams
• Athlete Lifecycle Management: Design and optimize the digital journey for athlete onboarding and off-boarding. Create streamlined workflows for contract management, product allocation, and access to On’s resources, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Data Management & Insights: Own the strategy for athlete data management, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. Partner with data scientists and analysts to unlock insights into athlete performance, engagement, and product needs, turning data into actionable product improvements.
• Seamless Ordering & Fulfillment: Reimagine the ordering and fulfillment process for athlete-dedicated products. Build and enhance capabilities to provide athletes with frictionless access to the products they need, when they need them, from custom kits to the latest performance gear.
• Performance Management Tools: Conceptualize and deliver tools and features that support athlete performance management. Collaborate with sports science and performance specialists to build solutions that help track progress, manage competition schedules, and facilitate communication - all with the end goal of helping our athletes win on the biggest stages.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Athlete Managers Sports Science, and Leadership, to align on priorities, communicate product updates, and ensure successful product launches
Your Story
• 5+ years of experience in product management in a fast paced technology environment
• A proven track record of shipping successful products, from concept to launch.
• Experience in developing and managing ecosystems, platforms, or complex data-driven products.
• A deep understanding of agile methodologies and modern product management principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into a clear product strategy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
• A passion for sports and an understanding of the needs of elite athletes is a strong plus.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for product planning and documentation.
