Our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple locations across the UK, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their busy team in Banbury. Benefits:
* Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience
* Uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging over £3,600
* 42.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and one in two Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm (with a day off in the week when working a Saturday)

Duties:
* Conduct MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
* Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct service and repair work
* Provide workshop support for various vehicle maintenance tasks
* Assist with customer enquiries at reception when required
* Ensure work is completed within specified timeframes while maintaining high quality standards
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and vehicle details
* Uphold safety standards and workshop policies at all times as an MOT Technician
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an MOT Technician, whether through employment or apprenticeship
* Valid MOT licence and UK driving licence held for at least 6 months with minimal penalty points
* Ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
* Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
* Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Banbury
* Mechanical aptitude complemented by customer service skills
* Flexibility to work one in two Saturdays as part of the rota
