Responsibilities
You will ensure the digital services that underpin retirement, bereavement and care benefit payments run smoothly. Your key tasks include:
* Monitoring and managing incidents, problems and change processes to keep services available.
* Coordinating technical fixes with suppliers and internal teams when things fail.
* Engaging with agents to understand user challenges and advocate for improvements.
* Planning and implementing continual service improvement opportunities.
* Delivering ITSM frameworks (ITIL, service continuity, disaster recovery) at scale.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in large‑scale service management, using ITIL processes.
* Strong knowledge of IT Service Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recovery testing.
* Experience applying service management processes to patching and security vulnerability activities.
* Demonstrated ability to work with senior business stakeholders to deliver IT service excellence.
* Track record of challenging the status quo, analysing processes and implementing measurable improvements.
About the role
You’ll be based in one of our digital hubs, working in a hybrid model. The position is full‑time, mid‑senior level.
