Senior Scientist (In-vitro) (Industry / CRO Experience is a Must)

Salary – £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on interview performance & experience)

Do you have hands-on experience designing and running in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays within industry or a CRO? Do you have prior experience meeting experimental deadlines set by clients?
We have an exciting opportunity to join a drug discovery company in Nottingham, focused on receptor pharmacology. You will support diverse client projects in cutting-edge drug discovery programs. Applicants must have current UK work eligibility.
Role
* Designing and performing in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays
* Providing high-quality data to support drug discovery projects
* Managing experiments and training junior team members
* Working closely with clients and the team to solve complex research problems
* Contributing to research publications and presenting findings at scientific meetings
Current / Recent Experience Required
* At least 2 years of industry / CRO experience performing in vitro biochemical or cell-based assays (essential)
* Assay development experience (essential)
* Hands-on experience with in vitro molecular biology techniques – such as cell culture, PCR, western blotting, and flow cytometry (essential)
* Expertise in GPCR pharmacology (desirable)
* PhD or BSc / MSc in receptor pharmacology (desirable)
* Expertise in pharmacology laboratory techniques, including binding assays, SPR assays, radioligand binding, reporter gene assays (desirable)
Profile Required
* Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
* Willing to commute / relocate to Nottingham (essential)
