We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader-Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The post holder will work as part of a team in the Lister Macmillan Cancer Centre to provide patients with holistic, evidence-based care as they undergo systemic anti-cancer therapies for cancer.
This will involve carrying out pre-treatment checks, venipuncture, cannulation, patient assessment and observation, administration of medications, support of junior colleagues and working collaboratively with a broad, multi-disciplinary team.

Promote, review and develop high standards of professional practice, competencies, protocols and high quality care delivery within Trust and Departmental policies, protocols and guidelines.
In conjunction with the Nurse Team Manager, to be responsible for the organisation, delivery and evaluation of nursing care for patients within the department, ensuring that all members of the team deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the relevant policies and procedures.
Deputise for the Nurse Team Manager in their absence in all aspects of operational management.
To be a visible presence on the unit and co-ordinate the nursing service
Demonstrate competence & confidence in management of a cohort of Cancer patients in LMCC
