Overview
GI Group are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our Internationally known client in Lincoln LN6. This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics. They operate in numerous countries and are known for their technology, customer service, and commitment to sustainability.
Shifts
* We are looking for Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
* Apply online only starts
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend work available and is optional
* Average 12 hour shift
Pay and Benefits
* Monday to Friday: 21.46 per hour
* Saturday: 27.47 per hour
* Sunday: 30.53 per hour
* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay
Main duties
* Conducting Vehicle checks
* Trunking work to depots
* Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
* Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
Requirements
* A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
* No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
* Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
* Have good customer service skills
* Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
