Humly is recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in Blackpool. This is a full-time role starting ASAP until Christmas 2025, working with Reception and Year 1 pupils across a mix of 1:1 and small-group support. The role involves supporting children with a range of SEN needs and mixed abilities, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils in Reception and Year 1 with additional needs
* Assisting the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to meet a variety of learning styles
* Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting social and emotional development
* Helping children build confidence and independence through tailored interventions
What You’ll Bring
* Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within EYFS or KS1
* A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with pupils of mixed abilities
* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) and two suitable references
