You're a Principal Structural Engineer who wants to lead projects that matter while influencing how teams and clients approach design. At Stantec, you'll join our Civil & Structural team near Bristol, working across a diverse portfolio of building projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is a role where you'll combine technical leadership with client engagement and team development, contributing to both project delivery and the continued growth of the business. ABOUT THE ROLE You will lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to construction, ensuring outputs are technically robust, coordinated, and aligned with client and regulatory requirements. You'll oversee calculations, specifications, and design documentation, providing guidance and quality assurance across the team. You'll manage project teams-supporting engineers and technicians, allocating resources, and maintaining programme and delivery performance. Alongside technical leadership, you'll contribute to team development and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to strengthen capability and consistency across the group. You will also play a key role in client engagement and business development, building relationships, supporting bids and proposals, and representing the team externally to identify and secure future opportunities.
