Main Duties: (Full Training Provided)
* Maintain and enhance ornamental and landscaped areas to high standards.
* Operate horticultural machinery, including compact tractors and attachments.
* Assist with landscape refurbishment, planting, and water feature projects.
* Perform routine garden maintenance to keep grounds pristine year-round.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team under the guidance of the Head Gardener.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Ideally NVQ Level 2 or above in amenity/decorative horticulture or a related field.
* Knowledge of trees, shrubs, and perennials.
* Experience in grounds or garden maintenance is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
* Preferably hold NPTC – PA1 and PA6 Pesticide Application Certificates, but not essential.
* Full current driving licence required (unless prevented by disability) due to role requirements.
Hours of Work:
* 39 hours per week across 5 shifts.
* Monday – Thursday: 7.45am – 4.45pm, Friday: 7.45am – 3.45pm, with a 1-hour lunch each day.
Salary:
£12.36 per hour.
