We have a fantastic opportunity at our CQC outstanding service in Margate, as we look for our next Team Leader! This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £25,370 per annum.
Are you caring, reliable, and compassionate? Do you want to take on extra responsibility and be part of a supportive team? If so, this role might be for you.
Our service supports 4 individuals with unique personalities. We believe it is their home, and it should feel homely and comfortable. We seek someone with a can-do attitude and problem-solving skills who can also coach team members.
One staff member shared, "I feel privileged to have this job and support amazing people. I was inexperienced and underqualified but took a chance, and now I work with a great team and find my job very satisfying."
You will also need a Full UK driving license to transport individuals at the service.
Sense supports staff development through skills and qualification training, including annual mentoring schemes with other charities, comprehensive induction, and ongoing training.

* Supporting individuals, groups, and teams within the home, center, and community.
* Providing high-quality, responsive services for people with sensory impairments and disabilities.

Requirements for this role:
* A full UK driving license and willingness to drive our vehicles.
* Experience with British Sign Language (BSL) or a BSL/Makaton qualification is desirable.
* You should be a good role model.
* Experience mentoring and supporting staff through supervision and development plans.
* Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting; we are willing to support your growth into an excellent Team Leader.
