Manufacturing Engineer – Cookstown, Ireland
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will manage production processes in your assigned area, ensuring safety, optimal quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential technical support to production, ensuring processes are efficient, safe, and compliant with quality standards.
- Drive productivity improvements, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Focus on process optimization, workplace ergonomics, new product introduction, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
- Lead continuous improvement and structured problem‑solving activities within an automated manufacturing environment, including robotic welding and handling systems and complex hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
- Support mechanical design and development of jigs and fixtures.
- Plan and deliver strategic engineering and operational projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in mechanical design.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong technical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Self‑starter who can work with minimal supervision.
- Passion for innovation and personal development.
