Your key responsibilities will include:
6. Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport and safety regulations
8. Managing deliveries and collections with care, utilising palletised loads and forklift operations
9. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues promptly
10. Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork accurately
11. Communicating effectively with logistics teams to support smooth operations
Days: role uses rolled-up holiday pay. A holiday pay uplift of is included in your hourly rate and paid with each regular salary payment. You will not receive a separate payment for holiday entitlement when it is taken, and this will be itemised on your payslip
Requirements:
12. Valid UK Class 1 HGV licence with a clean driving record
13. Experience driving large goods vehicles in a distribution or logistics environment
14. Professional and reliable approach to work
