The Role
We are seeking a Dean of Students, a strategic leadership position responsible for advancing academic excellence across the university.
Education
The Dean of Students will report to the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Education and work closely with academic Schools to:
* Provide strategic leadership for teaching and learning to achieve the university’s Strategy 2030 goals.
* Ensure delivery of outcomes related to learning, student experience, employability, and equitable opportunities, measured by KPIs.
* Coordinate pedagogic practices tailored to individual student needs, improving key metrics of student success and university rankings.
* Collaborate with Deans to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
Set and uphold standards for academic quality in teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will have a strong record of academic leadership, institutional performance understanding, and experience leading change in higher education.
