The Opportunity
We offer a permanent position for Structural/Bridge Engineers to join our team, working in Sheffield, Manchester, or Newcastle with shared office space and remote work options. We welcome applications from qualified engineers in these regions.
We work on projects for clients like Transport Scotland, Network Rail, and others, with ongoing growth into new regions and markets.

The Role
As a Bridge Engineer, you will be involved from project inception to completion, with responsibilities including design, site visits, supervision, and team mentoring.
* Implement project requirements per client standards.
* Prepare and review design documents.
* Conduct site surveys and inspections.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental laws.
* Mentor junior team members.
* Coordinate with clients and suppliers.
* Manage small technical teams and contribute to bids.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in structural engineering, ideally in an assistant engineer role.
* Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Chartered status or working towards it.
* Experience with bridge assessment, design, or management.
* Knowledge of relevant standards like Eurocodes.
* Proficiency with FE analysis software such as Lusas, Atena, or Midas.
