One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experiencedAssistant Operations Manager (Building Services and Maintenance) on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

To ensure that tenants of council properties reside in safe and well-maintained and dry conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* To support the Senior Operations Manager.
* Lead and manage the in-house maintenance team and external contractors, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring optimal productivity.
* Oversee the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across the council's property portfolio, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
* Responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service to tenants from your team, responding promptly to repair requests and addressing their concerns in a professional and timely manner.
* Ensure efficient turnaround of void properties and optimise maintenance processes to minimise costs and maximise productivity.
