From managing monthly processes and maintaining the payroll system to handling PAYE, pensions, benefits and audits, you’ll be a key link between HR and Finance. You’ll also provide valuable insights into headcount, cost planning, and payroll data to support smarter decisions and continuous improvement. You’ll be Running and submitting payroll Preparing journals and reconciliations Managing pensions and auto-enrolment Supporting year-end reporting (P60s, P11Ds) Handling employee payroll queries with clarity and confidentiality With solid payroll management experience gained from a regulated environment, you’ll be part of a supportive, knowledgeable team, within a group that values clarity, accountability, and collaboration. You’ll be part of a team that prioritises excellent client outcomes What do you need to succeed: You’ll be an experienced payroll manager, or senior payroll administrator (No.2) in a SME business (preferably in financial services or another regulated industry. You’ll be CIPP certified and or/ a part/full qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) Deep knowledge of PAYE, NIC, pensions, year-end reporting, and skilled in payroll systems and Excel Preferably, you’ll have Power BI skills rather than having deep knowledge Confident working with financial data, planning cycles, and cost centre reporting, with clear communication, discretion, and collaborative approach We work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
