If yes, then we have the opportunity that may be ideal for you as we are currently looking for you to join us as a Regional Telesales Assistant in our offices in Peterborough, PE3 8YB.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm, 42.5 hours per week.
What will I be doing?
* Reporting into a Regional Sales Manager, liaising with customers, branches and managers to achieve sales and growth targets. Offering seamless and outstanding customer service to support queries, quotations and orders.
* Taking ownership for quotes/order from inbound phone calls and making outbound calls to your portfolio of customers, ensuring we maintain and follow up all quotations converting enquiries into sales contracts.
* Maintaining good all‑round knowledge of products and services offered by Travis Perkins and offering alternatives and associated products to those requested.
* Working directly with preferred suppliers/manufacturers to source the equipment on behalf of the customer.
What experience do you need?
* Previous sales experience, ideally in a similar environment. Proactive approach and ability to spot opportunities to upsell and increase sales and profit with our customers.
* Great communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders.
