Hours of work: 40 hours per week. This role will involve working to the locally agreed roster pattern that includes day and night work, as well as some Saturday working.

The role
A vacancy has arisen for an Operations clerk working in the Spinnaker/Tops team at Felixstowe.
Providing clerical support to the operations team, the successful applicant will be responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into Tops, as well as time sensitive planning of train loading using the Spinnaker system.
The successful applicant must be able to work well in both a team environment and on their own initiative. The successful applicant will possess both good time management skills and strong communication skills.
The post involves shift work and rostered Saturday working.
Key responsibilities:
6. Accurately input information into TOPS and Spinnaker systems
7. Advise Duty Managers of any TOPS/Spinnaker discrepancies that may adversely affect operations
8. Plan train loading activities
9. Deliver customer import documentation to Train Loading Supervisors
10. Input accurate import figures
11. Provide general clerical support to the team
12. Report all missed containers to the relevant parties within FLIM
13. Report and record all damage to FLIM/Planners
14. Issue loading lists in a timely manner to Train Loading Supervisors, including any amendments
15. Liaise with planners and operational staff to ensure the smooth running of the terminal
