About the Role In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love of science and scientific enquiry in students across all secondary year groups. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore concepts, and develop a deep understanding of the scientific world. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver a variety of engaging and stimulating science lessons across the curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students. Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and departmental initiatives. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in science education and best practices. Foster a love of science and scientific enquiry in students. Requirements: Qualified Science Teacher (QTS) with a strong track record of success. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science. Engaging and enthusiastic teaching style with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Proven ability to plan, prepare and deliver effective science lessons. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
