Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer or Setter
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Location: Bristol
Hours: 6am-2pm Mon – Thurs 6am-11am Fri // 2pm-10pm Mon-Thurs 11am-4pm Fri
Pay: £20ph - £21.25ph DOE
Requirements
* Machine Setup or Programming:
o Fully set up or programme CNC machines online to produce parts conforming parts.
o Including twin spindle, multi-axis turning centres using Fanuc controls preferably using Miyano’s
o Able to fully set CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools and datum of all tools and work shifts.
o Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process.
o Understanding of machine parameters, speeds, feeds, and optimization techniques for efficient production.
* CNC Machining Skills:
o In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Fanuc Controls.
o Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
o Excellent understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and the ability to modify programs as needed.
* Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
o Capability to identify and resolve common CNC machine issues, such as tooling problems or programming errors.
o Proficiency in conducting routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
