What you'll be doing: As Software Engineering Manager, you will oversee a technical function covering elements of; business change, technical architecture, development, quality assurance, project management, in-life technical maintenance and upgrades, to ensure that we are delivering cutting edge and best-in-class systems, integrations and solutions to Connexin and our clients. You will line manage, motivate and coach a team of approximately 10 technical specialists and play a key part in the companys technical strategy and growth.A competitive salary will be offered for this position, depending on experience and can be discussed at interview. Key Responsibilities: Direct accountability for team performance and welfare. Coordination of technical enquiries, fault reports, and feature requests into the team. Planning and leading software, systems and data changes. Setting clear expectations and timeframes for team deliverables. Ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and policies, in particular Data Protection and security requirements. Championing showcases and ensuring adequate documentation. Championing retrospectives and continuous improvement activities. Collaborating with the People team in hiring and retention. Identifying, negotiating and on-boarding third-party resources, and driving them to deliver. Cultivating a positive and engaged team culture. Leading delivery activities to ensure high standards.
