Events Manager
Play a pivotal role at the heart of a fast-growing global pharmaceutical company, delivering world-class international events that shape the future of women’s health and fertility care.
Location: Hemel Hempstead (This is an office-based role where the candidate is required to be in the office 5 days per week)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30; 1 hour for lunch. Total working hours: 37.5 hours
L.D. Collins operates a flexible working policy, allowing employees to arrive anytime between 08:30 – 10:00 and finish anytime after 16:00.
Salary: £25,00 - £40,000, depending on experience.

The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, highly organised, and proactive Even Manager to join our growing international team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and delivering international meetings, conferences, speaker tours, and company events that bring together leading clinicians, industry experts, partners, and internal stakeholders from around the world.
You will help deliver high-profile events, including the Global Management Meeting for our partners, the Global Fertility Summit for international doctors, and the Reproductive Medicine Winter Symposium in the Alps, while also supporting travel and hotel logistics. The role offers significant exposure across the business, opportunities for international travel, and the chance to contribute directly to the continued growth and global presence of L.D. Collins.
This role would particularly suit someone with experience in events, project coordination, hospitality, or conference management who is looking to accelerate their career within a fast-growing international organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
· Plan and manage LD Collins & partner business events
· Plan and manage speaker tours
· Plan and manage LD Collins Teams social events
· Coordinate logistics including; venues, travel, accommodation and catering.
· Manage event timelines, agendas and plans.
· Coordinate speaker schedules, presentations and meeting materials.
* Build strong relationships with venues, suppliers, healthcare professionals, and external partners
· Managed the onsite coordination during the events to ensure all operations run smoothly.
· Track and monitor event budgets.
· Coordinate the conference programmes, including both social and educational agendas.
· Manage post event surveys
· Evaluate event outcomes and identify opportunities to improve future conferences.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in events, conference coordination and hospitality would be an advantage
· Ability to speak either French, Italian or German will be helpful.
· Highly organised strong project management and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders, medical professional and external partners and suppliers.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
· Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions orientated mindset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms (Microsoft Teams)
· Highly driven, fun and positive attitude.
· Must be able to travel international and support the events and conferences.
