We’re looking for a LeadQuality Engineer to lead from the front. This is a senior, highly technical role where you’ll:
* Own APQP deployment across new product launches, process changes, and supplier activities.
* Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, validations, and ensure Right First Time quality across all operations.
* Engage directly with customers, auditors, and senior stakeholders to demonstrate robust quality systems.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed best practice across the business.
* Initially hands-on, with the potential to grow and lead a small quality engineering team.
What you need to succeed:
* Proven experience in APQP and PPAP (candidates without this experience on their CV will not be considered).
* Several years' experience in manufacturing quality engineering, preferably in safety-critical or high-integrity sectors.
* Degree in engineering or quality-related discipline (CQP status desirable).
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Self-starter who can execute quality and compliance tasks independently.
* Willing and able to undergo DBS clearance – requires 5 years of UK work history.
