Location: Coalville Salary: £13 - £18 per hour (dependent on experience) Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Contract: Temporary initially, with strong potential for extension and permanent opportunity
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk / P2P Specialist to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Coalville. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMatching, batching and coding invoicesManaging subcontractor payment applicationsProcessing employee expense claimsReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining and updating supplier master dataSupporting month-end processes and reporting requirementsEnsuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
About You
Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable or P2PStrong attention to detail and good organisational skillsConfident using finance systems and ExcelAbility to manage workload effectively and meet deadlinesA proactive approach to resolving queriesThis role offers the chance to join a collaborative team with real long-term potential for the right candidate.
