Children's Residential Senior Support Worker
Location: Pilling, PR3
Salary: Up to £36,517.00 per annum
Hours: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week)
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep-ins per week (included in salary)
Sleep-In Rate: £55 per sleep-in (included in total salary package)
Voluntary Overtime Available

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, youll play a key leadership role within one of our therapeutic homes, helping to shape a safe, nurturing environment where children can begin to heal and thrive.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Senior Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Leading by Example: Supporting the team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Day-to-Day Support: Assisting children with routines such as personal care, meals, and activities
Mentoring Staff: Guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge, and supporting development
Emotional and Behavioural Support : Helping children regulate emotions and manage challenges
Promoting Learning: Supporting education, skill-building, and personal growth
Maintaining Records: Ensuring accurate documentation and contributing to care planning
Creating a Safe Home: Helping maintain a positive, safe, and structured environment

What Were Looking For
Were seeking individuals who are:
Experienced: Skilled in residential childcare and confident in a leadership role
Caring and Compassionate: Genuinely motivated to help young people heal and grow
Resilient and Reliable: Able to manage emotional challenges with professionalism
Team-Focused: Collaborative, supportive, and able to work positively with others
Organised and Proactive: Able to lead shifts and delegate tasks when needed
Flexible: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
What We Require
Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Children & Young People
Full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience working in a residential childcare setting
