We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandising Assistant to support our buying and merchandising team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the beauty industry and eager to develop their careers in merchandising, assortment planning, and retail operations. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth product operations, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting brand partnerships across various channels and markets.
Inventory Management: Support with tracking stock levels, monitoring sell-through rates, and working with the buying team to manage replenishments, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Sales and Performance Reporting: Support the team with data entry and analysis, generating weekly and monthly reports on product performance, trends, and key sales insights.
Supplier & Brand Communication: Act as a liaison between Skin Cupid and suppliers to confirm order details, track shipments, and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
Promotional Planning & Execution: Assist in planning optimal inventory levels for promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Assist in distributing stock across channels to optimise availability and sales performance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other analytical tools and Shopify is a plus.
familiarity with Asian/Korean beauty is a plus.
