We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager (Hard FM) to join our facilities management team working for our blue light contract based in Gravesend and covering sites across South East London, Kent and Sussex. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Activities: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager Responsible for the operational delivery of Hard FM services to the highest standard Work with the Senior Operations Manager to manage budgets and performance across the contracts To manage all associated subcontractors in accordance with company procedures and ensure that activities comply with client protocols To support the wider contract teams with ensuring contract compliance is achieved & maintained. To exercise financial and commercial controls in the management of expenditure and income within agreed budgets. To maximise profitability of operations and deliver ongoing cost savings. To recruit, select, motivate and manage the service teams where appropriate and to ensure continual training and staff development. Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday Skills & Qualifications: Must come from a Hard FM background with suitable M&E trade qualifications; currently holds AP/RP roles Must have experience in managing a medium to large group of engineers / technicians Excellent customer service and communication skills including IT literacy Must have good financial awareness Experience of working on a TFM environment and/or a PFI project is essential Excellent Health and Safety awareness and safe working practices Must be able to obtain and maintain Police vetting security clearance to appropriate level.
