PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Design Manager to Join their team on a permanent basis. This role is a Hybrid based role with the main location being Colchester. This role will be working on projects within the Water sector.
Design Manager Roles and Responsibilities
As a Design Manager you'll be part of the Management Team involved in the different supervision of projects from inception to completion.
You'll be working the Anglian Water contract.
Working under the Framework Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Design team and sub-contractor designers.
The role will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet budgets and delivery programmes.
You'll be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of CDM and quality.
Ensuring all designs meets required water industry regulations Anglian Water.
Be accountable for producing designs on time, on budget, meeting agreed SLA's.
Act as an ambassador for the company by supporting, promoting and implementing all company and Business Unit initiatives.
You will be responsible for timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget.
Facilitate internal and external review and progress meetingsDesign Manager Requirements
Degree or Equivalent within Design/Engineering
Working knowledge of the Water industry is desirable
Experienced within Design working within the Construction Industry
Comprehensive IT abilities including MS Suite and ACAD ExperienceDesign Manager Benefits
Salary - £60,000 - £70,000 DOE
