HGV Driver / Loader
Barnstaple 13.69 per hour Full-Time Temporary Ongoing
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join a busy team in Barnstaple, working with a well-respected waste and recycling services provider.
If you hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence and are confident navigating residential areas, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The Role:
* Operate curb-side refuse/recycling collection vehicles across the local area.
* Load and assist with collections as required.
* Work as part of a team delivering an essential public service.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence.
* Up-to-date CPC qualification.
* Good local knowledge of Barnstaple and surrounding areas.
* Comfortable manoeuvring large vehicles in tight residential streets.
* Previous experience in the waste or recycling sector (beneficial but not essential).
Pay & Benefits:
* 13.69 per hour.
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
* Ongoing temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.
* On-site induction and training provided.
* Weekly pay & online payslips.
* 28 days' paid annual leave (pro-rata for PAYE).
