Origination Director
This role is with a growing small business that develops battery storage and optimization projects at utility scale.They have 10 assets, 8 in construction and 10-15 in varying stages of development. 4-5 projects coming online in the next month and they need an origination lead.
The position details is likely to be 50% origination and 50% operations, the role will continue to develop with the business to become fully focused on origination then leading the team. This would suit a people person, someone used to wearing multiple hats and capable of building origination relationships with the major C&I companies and utilities, from Facebook to LCRA.
The role will beremote, bonus if Austin-based, and focusing on ERCOT and SPP where all their projects are located.
The business is boutique and in growth so there is one analyst for support and a limited database of contacts. The quantitative and scenario analytics will become more and more AI-driven but the person will need the sales acumen to articulate and present the data. An added value would be a knowledge and background of day-to-day trading experience.
The role will report to the Head of Operations. The more versatile, vibrant, and dynamic the better as this is a growing small business.
