Overview
A leading company in the health industry is urgently seeking an experienced, project‑focused Senior Data Scientist for a critical 5‑month contract engagement. This high‑impact, Outside IR35 contract focuses on delivering an end‑to‑end data product.
Project Scope
* Core Deliverable: End‑to‑end development and deployment of a prediction model using Python.
* Full Lifecycle: Manage the entire product lifecycle from data wrangling to production deployment.
* Stakeholder Communication: Present complex model results and insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
* Duration: Approximately 5 months, ideally commencing in early November.
Your Role
* ML & AI Delivery: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
* Modeling & Tech Stack: Use Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL to develop models and extract insights.
* Scalability: Leverage Snowflake's ML solutions to deliver scalable outputs.
* Production & Deployment: Support deployment workflows and collaborate with engineers to integrate models.
* Stakeholder Alignment: Translate business use cases into suitable modeling approaches.
* Mentorship: Mentor junior team members through code reviews and informal mentoring.
Working Arrangement
* Location: Primarily Remote, must be based within the UK time zone (GMT/BST).
* Travel: Monthly or bi‑monthly office travel for onboarding and key meetings (travel expenses covered).
