Location: Balsall Heath, B12
Primary (Specialist SEMH setting)
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (dependent on experience)

Aspire People are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in the Balsall Heath (B12) area, working with pupils from Reception to Year 6.

The Role:
Teaching and supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs in small groups or 1:1
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum
Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership to develop positive outcomes
Using restorative approaches and trauma-informed practice to promote emotional regulation and progress
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour (mainstream or specialist setting)
Resilient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
