An exciting opportunity to join the CMS Evidence team as a Client Growth Lead on a 12 month fixed term contract. About the role The Client Growth Lead – CMS Evidence will play a central role in expanding the reach and impact of the CMS Evidence practice by strengthening relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients. The position is designed for an individual with a strong understanding of eDisclosure, investigations, and legal technology, enabling them to engage credibly with partners, associates, and clients on both strategic and practical matters. By combining subject-matter familiarity with a commercial outlook, the role supports the identification and development of new opportunities while ensuring that CMS Evidence is positioned effectively across the firm. About you A key responsibility of the role is to drive engagement across practice groups, sectors, and jurisdictions. This involves proactively meeting with partners and matter teams to understand their work, anticipating where CMS Evidence services may add value, and helping to shape approaches to clients that align with their needs. The Client Growth Lead will act as a trusted liaison between CMS Evidence, the central business development function, and fee earners, ensuring that communications, proposals, and initiatives are coordinated and strategically targeted. Externally, the role will focus on deepening client relationships and helping to articulate the value of CMS Evidence services in a clear and practical way. This may include supporting pitches, attending client meetings, contributing to thought leadership, and helping to develop materials that demonstrate capability and differentiation. The position requires an individual who is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and who can translate technical concepts in eDisclosure and investigations into language that resonates with legal and commercial audiences. The Client Growth Lead will also contribute to longer-term growth initiatives, including identifying emerging trends in disputes, investigations, and legal technology, and helping to shape service offerings in response to client demand. Working closely with the Head of CMS Evidence and the wider team, the role will support strategic planning, market positioning, and the continued development of the practice, ensuring that growth is both sustainable and aligned with the firm’s broader objectives.
