37 hours per week

Your role:

The NW ADASS Regional Analyst is part of a small regional team working with 23 adult social care services across the Northwest to deliver sector led improvement.

The Analyst will support the regional adult social care programme office and be responsible for our regional Data Framework. This will mean leading the delivery of benchmarking and analysis, producing reports and sharing insight. The Analyst influence the use of data and analysis across our councils; and working widely with analysts, performance leads and wider colleagues across local government to understand data needs.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about data and analysis and improving public services, turning data into intelligence is key.

This involves working on their own and in large groups of colleagues from across the region, online and in-person. It involves creating positive relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and partner organisations.

This role also has specific requirements to use Tableau Desktop on a regular basis, and use of SQL to extract and manipulate data supplied by all authorities across the region.

They will need to be able to work flexibly, working mostly from home, occasionally attending meetings in Wigan Council and across the NW.
