Duties
* Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
* Manage food preparation and production processes, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Lead and train staff in culinary techniques, serving practices, and customer service excellence.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary while minimising waste.
* Create and implement seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the café kitchen.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or café setting.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking.
* Background in hospitality with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
* Previous experience as a barista is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
