The support you provide will change with everyone you work with because everyone is different. Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and could include helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, employment, individual interests, and travel. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role. You may be supporting people in their own home or out and about in their community. Responsibilities
* Support adults with a learning disability, helping create innovative ways to support individuals achieve their personal goals, aims and ambitions.
* Provide personal and emotional support, help plan and manage individuals’ own homes, and assist with leisure, employment, and travel.
* Support may occur in clients’ own homes or out in the community; adapt support to each person’s needs.

Additional Information
Full manual UK Driving Licence required; experience desirable. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to a relevant DBS check should you be offered the position.
